Discover History House, a collaborative educational program presented by the Newburgh Free Library and the Historical Society of Newburgh Bay and the Highlands that introduces children and families to Newburgh's history through hands-on learning, storytelling, architecture, and art.

Throughout the summer, participating families build miniature dollhouses inspired by Newburgh's historic architecture while exploring local history through workshops, historic artifacts, and creative activities. During Archtober Newburgh, these imaginative creations will be exhibited as a celebration of the community's creativity, craftsmanship, and architectural heritage before returning home with their creators or being auctioned to benefit the Newburgh Free Library.
