Hudson Valley House Parts Workshop Series: Historic Door Restoration

Join Hudson Valley House Parts for a series of hands-on historic preservation workshops introducing the fundamentals of restoring and caring for older buildings. Each session explores a different aspect of traditional craftsmanship and rehabilitation.

Historic doors are among the most distinctive features of older buildings. In this workshop, James Kelly will demonstrate how to assess the condition of a historic door, evaluate existing finishes, and understand the techniques used to repair and restore original woodwork while preserving its historic character.
