The Newburgh Project, founded by Ember Beeler, is an initiative to virtually reconstruct the city of Newburgh, NY in Minecraft.

Built in Minecraft, we can explore the City of Newburgh as it stood before the Urban Renewal era of the 1960s and 1970s, which demolished more than 1,300 buildings and displaced over 800 families. The digital model offers an accessible and interactive platform for audiences worldwide.

Through a new collaboration with Newburgh Creates, the project is being brought directly to the public, engaging students, residents, and visitors in exploring Newburgh's past and reimagining its future.
