Urban Film Screening - The Grand Budapest Hotel
Join us at the Lights Camera Newburgh Pavilion for an outdoor screening of Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel, a film celebrated for its distinctive architecture, interiors, landscapes and meticulously constructed sense of place.
Before the film, we’ll host a pre-film conversation with experts working in the film industry and shaping film production and infrastructure in New York, looking at how locations, architecture and the built environment influence filmmaking, and how communities across New York are increasingly being used as production locations. Speakers to be confirmed.
Bring your own chairs and blankets! Seating is outdoors, so come prepared to get comfortable under the stars.
Presented as part of Newburgh Archtober, the evening explores the intersection of film, architecture and place while highlighting Newburgh’s growing connection to the film industry.
